42 Posts for Electronic Mechanic in Assistant Lineman.
43 Posts for Electrician in Assistant Lineman.
Limitation for Age:
For Unreserved candidates, age bar must be 18years to 35 years. There is some relaxation in the maximum age for reserved category candidates such as 18years to 40 years for SC and ST categories. Check the official website for checking the more age relaxations.
Candidate applying for the post of Assistant Lineman must have 3 years or 4years certificate diploma in ITI (Industrial Training Institutes) in the field of Electrician, Electronic Mechanic and Electronics and this diploma certificate must be recognized by the Karnataka Government.
The Selection of the candidate is entirely based on Physical Test and Medical Examination.
The Registration Fee for the General candidates and some other categories is Rs 400/- and for Scheduled Cast and Scheduled Tribe, it is Rs. 200/-. The Registration Fee can be remitted in the form of Challan Form deposited at the State Bank of Mysore branch.

The online application form can be filled by clicking on the Application Form available at the website of KPTCL. Fill the required boxes with right information and take the hard copy of the form. The Application Fee needs to be deposited in the prescribed bank in the form of challan copy. This challan copy and acknowledgement slip has to be produced at the time of the test.
