ARS NET Results 2014-15
Agriculture scientists recruitment board (ASRB) will hold a NET (National eligibility test) Examination on 27 October 2013 at 33 Centres in India as per the rules and Scheme of Examination indicated in this Notification. Candidates are advised to read the notification carefully before filling the Online Application Form. Candidates have given written test and now all are waiting for their result.
National eligibility test (NET) is a qualifying examination for determining eligibility for Lecturer / Assistant Professor in the State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) and other Agricultural Universities (AUs) only. Candidates those who qualify in written test are absorbed as Lecturers or Assistant Professors in the SAUs/AUs.
There is no age limit as minimum age criteria is 21 years as on date 1/ August / 2013. A candidate will not be able to fill in the online application form in case he/she is born after 02.8.1992.
Paper pattern: There is only one paper of 150 marks, which consist 150 multiple type questions. Candidates have to solve 150 MCQs in 2 hours. Each question carries one mark. Candidates have to secure 55% minimum qualifying marks(for general category), 50% marks (for backward cast )and 45% marks (for SC / ST/ Physically Challenged (PC) Person ).
Total number of attempts
The number of attempts for appearing in the National Eligibility Test Examination will be limited to 05 for all candidates (whether Master in Science /Ph.D.) including the in-service candidates of ICAR However, this restriction will not apply to Schedule Cast and Schedule Tribe candidates.
